Hi,
I've been reading where quite a few of us are having discomfort at the incision site and just wanted to share my experience. Fortunately for me, I had no real problems except just..well discomfort and some pain here and there. I've had my PM for almost 6 months now. Where the seat belt bothered me immensely the first few months (I used a hand towel rolled up) I know don't even know it's there. Don't need to use the towel anymore. Also after about two months suddenly I developed these sharp quick almost pin like pains at the site off and on. That went away too. Someone said it was irritated nerves and would go away and they were right.
Our PM's are tough. I've had two little grandchildren butt head me right in the site, my 3 year old's fork slipped out of her hand and hit me prongs first directly in the site (hurt like heck for a few minutes) and a few other things like that...and all is fine.
As long as there is nothing serious or weird going on, the pain and pressure you are feeling should go away. 6 months now for me and I don't even know it's there most times.
Good Luck,
Vicki
