Hi everyone my name is Adrianne, I'm very excited about being apart of this club. I was unaware that such community's existed until now. Just some background info from me, I'm about to be 21, from LA, got my pacemaker in 2022 for Bradycardia and complete heart block.

I just want to welcome you and most importantly; remind you that getting a PM should not change your life in any way, except for the "better". You have the same condition that I did when I got mine. I have had my PM for almost 37 years and since getting it at a young age, my life has been completely normal. From partying too much when younger, to trying to take better care of myself as I got older. The PM has not prevented or hindered me from doing anything that I choose to do. On the contrary. When younger I played competitive sports (baseball & basketball) and my PM did not hinder that in any way. Actually, you are even "better off" than me, because of all the technological improvements that have been made with still many more coming! You have had your PM for a while and may already be aware of everything I wrote. So if I am preaching to the choir, I apologize.
As H van Dyk indicated, this is a great place to frequent in an effort to get answers to questions, support and most importantly; help others with your experience and knowledge. Given your age, you have a lot of happy, and healthy years ahead of you and will have much to offer. Especially to all the younger folks here!!
Glad you are here! I hope you hang-around.
Sincerely,
Dave

Welcome aboard! Hoping your Boston Sci is making things more efficient and comfortable. I'm a Boston Sci gal, too. Mine is the CRT-P Valitude X4. Always sounds like I am a robot when I say that. Lol🧡🍁

Glad you found us! Ditto everything Dave said. I was a little older than you at 27 when I got my first one, also for CCHB. No issues whatsoever. I've lead a full, active live and the pacer has never kept me from doing anything I wanted to do.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear that you already need a pacemaker at your young age. Feel free to ask questions and/or information on this matter (if any).
Greetings from Amsterdam
