The Presidents Challenge is a program that encourages all Americans to make being active part of their everyday lives. No matter what your activity and fitness level, the President's Challenge can help motivate you to improve: https://www.presidentschallenge.org/
There are categories for all ages:
Kids: https://www.presidentschallenge.org/home_kids.aspx
Teens: https://www.presidentschallenge.org/home_teens.aspx
Adults: https://www.presidentschallenge.org/home_adults.aspx

We know you're busy. Really busy. But finding time for fitness is easy - if you know where to look. The Presidents Challenge will help you find a program that's right for you, with activities you like. Because the best way to stay active is to have fun doing it.
There is a fountain of youth. Millions have discovered it - the secret to feeling better and living longer. It's called staying active. All it takes is finding a program that works for you and sticking with it. And that's exactly where the Presidents Challenge can help.
Staying active with others can be a lot of fun. They'll help keep you motivated - even when you don't really feel like it. Groups are a great way to meet new people. There are even programs for people at different activity levels: the Active Lifestyle program aimed at beginners, and the Presidential Champions program for those who are already active.
The President's Challenge lets you choose from almost 100 different activities. So you're sure to find at least one you like.
The Presidents Challenge allows for groups to be set up so that you can track and compare your exercise and fitness with others within the group. Signing up for a group is simple. There's no limit to how many you can belong to. You can join or leave at any time.
I set up a Group for Pacemaker Club. The Pacemaker Club Group Number is 76065. You will need to enter this group number and the Pacemaker Club group name if you decide to register for the Pacemaker Club Group, but joining the group is not mandatory; i.e., you can still use the Presidents Challenge program without joining the group. Also, you will need to select a username (you might want to use the same username you use on Pacemaker Club). I registered the group for Washington, DC as the location since that is the location for the President, and set it up as an Individual Group (vice Community, Government, School, or Workplace, which were the other choices).
Note: This posting is simply meant to offer an exercise tracking tool and provide motivation for staying fit and is non-political. Please, no political comments!

and it told me there was something wrong. I used Pacemaker Club for the group name & the 76065 number but it didn't work. What's up with that?

Gonnie, I went back in and double checked. The name and group number are correct as I had listed in the original email; i.e., Group Name = Pacemaker Club and group number = 76065.
Did you register for the President's Challenge yet? First you have to register for the President's Challenge, and then you can sign up for groups. You can pick whatever username you want when you register for the President's Challenge, and of course pick whatever password you want to use. Once you're "in" the President's Challenge there is a tab for "Groups". That is where you will enter "Pacemaker Club" and "76065". After I set it up I was able to go back in and register myself, so I don't think you should have a problem. If so, let me know, and I'll check with them to try to find out why you're having trouble.

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
I so need this!
