mitrial valve surgery when you have a pacemaker

Has anyone out there had to have a mitrial valve surgery that already had a pacemaker?

I don't have personal experience but if you go to the search button on the top left, just type in mitral valve. You'll see posts on that. Here's one:

There is always some way to get things repaired!

I recently had a TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement) which happened 3 months after placement of CRT-D. No issues. No idea of your condition, but they can do the same in the mitral position (TMVR). I had the surgical AVR back in 2007. Needless to say, I'm very happy about the advances in valve replacents. It was very close to being an outpatient experience. Also, the major risk for the aortic position, is the need of a PM post surgery. We're already there :) however, I don't know much about the mitral position.

yes....they will know how to handle it

I had mitral valve repair with an ICD.  It was open heart but went through side of chest, under breast and between ribs.
