Hi,
Just found this great club & it is very interesting. I wanted to donate my pacemaker after I pass on & found a 800 # for American Vet Association on this web site so I could donate to an animal in need. But I am sorry to report that I was told that they no longer accept used pacers donations. Person I talked to didn't know why this policy was started.
Any body got any further news?
Keep up the good work folks in supporting each other.
Janet

I was floored when I got a $600 guarantee on my PM. If it goes bad, if it is removed and returned to them, then replaced with their brand they will give me $600 for my inconvenience. Shoot I'd rather Fluffy or Bowser have it. I love the idea.

Hi Janet.
There is a canine member on this site, whose name is Maggie. She has had 2 pacemakers implanted so far.
If you go to the member list, and look up Maggiesmom or snipsnapper, you'll get the full story, as well as an e-mail address.
Maggie's mom might be able to tell you more about donated pacemakers for animals.
You'll enjoy the story.
