I get a tinge of pain on left side of my chest by device location. It happens about once an hour, at times there are a couple of tinges. Tinge-=small pain. Is that common or something to be concerned about? I have had my pacemaker since November 2023.

We have all had this occasionally. Some call it ant bites. The muscles and nerves were cut to make your pocket and things are still healing inside. If the incision site isn't swollen red or oozing anything, it might be just the healing going on.
If it's a regular sensation that frequently, ask the team who installed the device if this is normal.

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
