I am wondering if anyone has ever felt any kind of electric sensation from your pm thru the skin.. like I have lost about 75 pounds since mine was installed so it is very noticeably protruding against my skin so that is more sensitive anyways but twice now I have accidentally pressed near my pm once when drying off after a shower and once when my hand slipped putting lotion on and it's almost like i got shocked but not my heart, more like nerves in my skin.. Does this make sense as something that's normal and I am just feeling it for the first time? I have had my pm since March 2022.. thanks in advance.

Electrical Sensations

Sensations from healing are often described as insect bite type sensations, but you can also get other sensations as Tracey_E confirms above. Sometimes, people report feeling electrical sensations when they lean / sleep on their left hand side.
Two years post implant and with the weight loss, I'm guessing that it's possible that there may have been a bit of movement.
What you are describing is alerted by touch and your hand running (fairly firmly) over the area where the wires connect to the device. Do you suspect a loose wire / connection perhaps?
I'd run that past your EP and device clinic. An x-ray might pick up any issues.
Sensations

I've often noticed those odd sensations you can get - nothing to do with the device - when you pick some very specific part of your body and get a tingle somewhere else.
One that works for me is to pick an old spot on the left side of my chest and get a tingle on the skin of my right knee.
Quite a few peripheral nerves are going to be cut or damaged during the procedure and eventually will heal or reroute over time.
I had a facial nerve cut during an operation and lost sensation in a small area of my face.
I was told that nerve sensation could take a long time to repair and would be in the order of a millimetre per day from the site of the damage to the site of the sensation loss.
In any event, it took decades.
At this stage, especially if you can feel the device and the leads - not unusual - it might not be unreasonable to get some different sensation, but speaking only for myself, touching the device etc. does not produce any tingling.
There might be an outside possibility of current leakage at the connector point, but again, unusual.
It's worth pointing out that in any lead/connector arrangement, the most likely place to get problems is where the lead enters the connector, mainly because it's the point where most stress is caused on wires.
Only yesterday, a perfectly good USB cable stopped working, almost certainly a break in one of the very fine conductors. Substituting a new one fixed the problem. The confusng part was that the power conductors were working fine but the data ones weren't.
You know you're wired when...
Batteries not included takes on a new meaning.

When nerves knit back together as they heal, we can get all sorts of odd sensations. When in doubt, anything new is worth running past your doctor.
