Anyone else experience a very bright yellow fluid? Incision is healing very well. A steristrip came off overnight and I have a very runny bright yellow fluid a tiny bit of blood - no smell or discharge.
thanks

I shared a photo with my surgeon at Cleveland and he said he is not worried at all. The incision leaked a bit this am but nothing overnight. I sent to my GP here in Canada and she was not worried either. I had my pacer removed and got leadless - a lot of work was done in the pocket including a sack of antibiotics and this is very bright yellow so suspect it may be that. No fever, no pain and incision is looking better. I appreciate all the responses. I will update my team tomorrow am. I see my surgeon next week and will ask him what it was so I can post this on here. Cat

At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!

Yellow fluid IS discharge. You need to be evaluated for possible infection.
