Is anyone familiar with how to get info about transmissions?
I am trying to figure out the dates for all my transmissions I sent this year and also what hospital the transmissions were sent to...
I am dealing with insurance (and filing an appeal) as a certain hospital is saying they got my transmissions and charged me a lot for them (yet the transmissions should not have been sent to the clinic/hospital) as I switched doctors and hospitals this year.
thanks in advance!
Amy

Phone App

On the Medtronic phone app (mylink), if you go to the page that shows the options for "messages", vitals tracking, etc, and click on the "heart device" icon, when that opens it shows the device clinic name and address (or on mine it does). This is where my Uploads go every quarter. I'd reach out to them and see what's up.
Thank you

Do you guys use mycarelibkconnect.com?
I do and have the wireless transmitter "my care link smart monitor"
I am able to see the hospital listed... yet the problem is I switched doctors/hospitals so I am trying to figure out why the old hospital/doctor is charging me to look over my transmissions when I switched doctors.
I am not able to see all transmissions this year just the date for the most recent. I will try logging on to a desk top version maybe I'll get more details.
pretty sure it will just be another loosing battle for me.
the worst part is the last time I got charged from this hospital for July 11 it states the doctors name (my old doctor) who as of june 30 no longer even works at that hospital that billed me under his name as the doctor who provided the service. Sometimes insurance and the health industry can seem like such a scam and be so frustrating!

When I switched doctors, it took MONTHS and multiple phone calls to get Abbott to send the reports to the correct doctor. Document everything.

I notice on my quartely remote transmissions that the cardiologist that i have not seen since 2019 is still on my report. mentoned it to the current Heart doctors office. said it was not important and i never have been billed by that doctor. So i do not worry. Do notice that sometimes they forget to bill Medicare and my supplement right away, for the quartely. Just recieved a notice from Medicare that they had just paid for the Sept 2023 remote charge.

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
Transmission records and destinations

My transmissions are scheduled every 91 days. They sometimes are completed around midnight so that it falls into 90 or 92 actual days. My Medtronic app dashboard on iphone lists all transmission dates since latest implant. They do not say where the transmission was sent. I do know that insurance will only pay for 4 per year.
Being sent to wrong place and having to re-do and get to the right place would possible explain high fee as well as possibly being out of network.
