Pulsating equipment

I am 6 weeks post surgery and have been cleared to resume normal activities.

What is the concensus on using a weedeater?  The AMA has them listed as ok but I want to be sure.

TIA

Weedeater

Google Weedeater comes up with a band.

Strimmer or brush cutter.

Petrol, cordless or corded?

Either way, not a problem. Used the electric versions for years. Cordless probably a bit safer and no lead to be tempted to drape over your shoulder.

Shouldn't be any problems with modern petrol versions either. Only have petrol mower and never give a second thought other than keeping feet out of the way.

Usual disclaimer.

it's fine

Rule of thumb on anything questionable is keep it 6" from your device.

If you pace with rate response, you may find that the vibration confuses it and it raises your rate. Harmless, but feels odd if you aren't expecting it.

Yesterday was my first day mountain biking after my implant. I wiped out several times and everything is fine. There are sports after pacemakers!
