I had an av node ablation...new pacemaker, worked great for about 6-8 weeks....back to working out etc.
then...AFIB, very low / high heart rates...just feeling like hell.
Turns out my AV node grew back (album ver damaged) enough for m6 heart to beat on its own...which automatically overrides the pace maker.
took a lot of digging for them to firgure it out! Pacemaker was "on", just not engaging.
Happen to anyone else?

I've heard of this happening, but have not experienced it myself. That was fast, growing back in 6-8 weeks! I'm sure you are disappointed to start having problems again.

I've seen many posts about people being concerned about exercise after having a device so thought I would let you know that yesterday I raced my first marathon since having my pacemaker fitted in fall 2004.

No advice at all, but wow that is one seriously stubborn av node! I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Good luck.
