Okay so I was bored the other day and have been reading alot about recalled PM's and Leads so I punched my PM with model number and it came up that it was recalled in 2005. Do they still use the same model number or is the one i have a recalled one (had my PM put in July 07) any thoughts on this.. Thanks

If your pacemaker is a Guidant like mine, there is a lookup tool on Guidant/Boston Scientific site for checking if your pm and leads are part of the recall. You will need your model number and serial numbers for the pm and leads. These numbers can be found on the card you were given at the time of implantation.
Here is the link: http://www.bostonscientific.com/webapp/emarketing/lookup.jsp
My model 1290 (implanted Nov. 2007) is still being manufactured but I found that my serial numbers (for pm and leads) were not part of the recall.
