is it ok to fly

I have to make an internal flight from edinburgh to bristol next week and i cannot find my pacemaker card would a letter from the doctor be enough for the officials at the airport to side step the scanner

hi alan. i fly over to ireland quite a lot. i just tell them i have an icd. they have never asked for any proof, in 6 yrs of flying, with my icd. joe, from Bolton.

I always have my card in hand but not once in 8 flights .since I got the PM has any TSA person looked at it.
I usualy just tell the attendant that I need an on hands search. All TSA ladies who've searched me have been very nice to me; no problems whatsoever.

Never once been asked for my card and even if I was and could not find it it would not be a problem as they will hand search you anyway. Cheers Peter
