After getting a PM for slow heart rate, today I was put on medication because my heart rate was too fast. I was told that this is common. The medication I am now taking is CardizemLA. Does anyone else have to take this or something similar for the same problem?

It may be the first time we've felt a normal heart rhythm in a long time, so of course it seems too fast and too strong.

Hey there Meema, I was on the CardizemLA and just like Elisa i had really bad swelling. The swelling is all the med seemed to do for me. You need to watch your lifestyle. It made me really tired and all i wanted to do was lay around. I also came very distant with friends and family. Its strange how one med can do so much! Hope I helped! Rachel
