Welcome to the new members here. How nice it is to come on and see 3 new ones all at the same time. Please enjoy the site ask all the questions you can think of because there are a lot of very informed people on here.

Now my question...

I know this has been asked before but I have forgotten the answers. I just got a new cell phone. It is Bluetooth capable. Is it ok to use it on my left side?

Bluetooth

I'll add my 2 cents on the 1st part - alway great to see new members - I know what a help this site was to me, and I know it'll be a help to them!

As far as the Bluetooth is concerned, I already had one before I got my PM and asked the rep about it, he recommended the same care as when using a cell phone - do it on the side opposite the PM. I use it when traveling in my car and have had no problem with it. I've not heard a difinitive answer on the speaker-phone type that is mounted in the car yet, but do know that someone posted that a friend with a PM had to have one removed from his car because of the interference it caused with his PM.

Hope this helps.

Blue tooth

I have a Blue Tooth Cell phone and Palm pilot.
I use the right ear for my earpiece - no problems.

I too have heard the speaker-phone/car Blue Tooth.
I was in a car that had this and had no issue. I too heard the story that Yorker mentioned - curious why they didn't just turn the Blue tooth function off vs. having it removed.

Anyhow, if in doubt, ask your PM Tech. or Dr.

I have a bluetooth phone that I use with no problems. I try to use it on just the right side but I have used it on my left with no problems. Good Luck.

I have had my pacer since 2005. At first it ruled my life. It took some time to calm down and make the mental adjustment. I had trouble sleeping and I worried a lot about pulling wires. Now I just live my life as I wish.
