new ICD

I just got my ICD swapped out today. I also got it relocated at the same time.
very happy with the results. No more visible wire, except for the swelling can't tell I have an ICD anymore.

I do admit there is more pain, but worth it.

Thanks for checking in, was wondering when you were having it done! So glad it turned out well. The pain won't last, though if you're like me it may linger for a while.

Yeah Tracy, been waiting 7 years to get my ICD moved. Woke up and couldn't see or feel the wire or the implant, made me very happy.
I assumed my doc was going to have to open an additional incision to place the ICD, but he said the muscle can be seperated without cutting and slipped under and that's what they did.
Just have to go through the recovery, but I keep forgetting it's not even been 48 hrs yet.

So, 1 week no driving, 3 weeks total no working out, then back to the weights, taking it easier for a couple of more weeks.
