Returning to work.

Hi Just read your message and I also have had an ablation and am l00% dependent on my pm for my lower heart to function. I dont know from your message how long it has been since you have received your pm for I know they tell you to lay low for 6 weeks after it is done. I kept mine in a sling for that long even at night. I have had mine for over a year now and any questions I have about what i can be around I always direct to the 800 number that was given in the book that came with my biotronic pacemaker. You can also email your manufacturer which I have also done and they have responded quickly. Good Luck! DD

thanks for the reply, i just got my PM and have to lay low for the next six weeks, .Wanted to mention the sling idea sounds great because no matter how hard i try not to move my arm, i do just out of pure habit. I don't have any information on my PM yet my 1st follow up is in 3 wks, so will probably find out more then.
