Just a Suggestion

Why don't we just set a time when we would like to meet and chat. It seems that everytime I go in the Chat room no one is there. People come and go, but keep missing each other. If someone would post and suggest having a chat at a certain time on that day, then maybe all who wanted to chat would come in the room at that time.

I have been in the room several times and only once have chatted with someone. it was a very nice experience. I am a new chatter and I think this adds to the support of the site.

Again, just a suggestion.

Great idea

NH,

What a great suggestion. I think part of the problem is that we live all over the world in many different time zones. But, if Chats were scheduled and everyone knew, at least those of us who were available at a certain time could make it. In the past, very informally, some of us have agreed to chat at a certain day/time and I missed it because of the 3 hour time difference. And, a Senior moment! Here in the US we go on daylight savings time March 9 which further complicates things. Do you plan to pick a time and tell us when to be there? Thanks.

Sharon,

Thanks so much for responding to my idea. It just seems that the chat room would be another way to get support for us.

I live in Florida and in the eastern time zone of the US. I know people in other time zones would find it difficult to set a time.

But I think if we try to set some times we would be in the chat room it would help.

Everytime I go in there I see other posters who have come and left the room because no one was "home". People seem to just keep missing each other and a time or at least post that you are going in the chat room and would anyone like to join you would be good.

I think we can use this as another tool to help us keep a positive attitude about our heart conditions.
Take care,
