Hi,
I posted a while back about getting a PM adjustment while in Israel on business. I thought about waiting until I got back to the states, but am glad I took the advice offered and made a tweek.
The new settings were out to the test this past weekend as I took a trip to Jordan and went hiking in Petra, the 2000 year old city carved out of stone and featured in Indiana Jones and the last Crusade. We only had a day there and wanted to see as much as possible and I was able to keep up with my buds as we double timed it thought the mountains. I wouldn't have been able to do it with my old settings.
For the curious, the EP in Israel confirmed that my PM was working fine. His suggestion was to try and shorten the time between the sensing of my atrial beat and the signal sent to my ventricle. It worked like a charm.
Check out the photo gallery as I'm going to post a photo or two.
Thanks again to everyone that responded.
Chris

Sounds like you got an EP that knows what he is doing. That is some fine tweaking he did. Makes you realize how sophisticated out natural pacer is.
Sure feels good when the settings are right.

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone... I uploaded a few pics from Petra to the gallery, but they haven't shown up yet. Hopefully soon.

Way to go Chris!
I'm so glad you had time to tour at least some of Israel while you were there and that you found someone who could make the adjustments you needed.

Take a look at the last page for a few Petra pics if interested. I'm on the right.

My cardiologist is brilliant and after lots of trial and error got me running. I finished this years London Marathon in 3hrs 38 minutes.

Delighted for you, Chris. I envy you your trip and am so glad you were well enough to make the most of it thanks to the tweaks made by Israeli EP. Good for you. Kind wishes.
