Hello again! I feel that there are too many people offending others, and I know there are many sensitive people (I am one) :). I feel that we need to try to understand each other a little more. Here is a quote that may help:
"Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes." -Freida Norris
Keep smiling and try to be kinder to one another! I know I really need to listen to this, I am not exactly the most considerate person on Earth! LOL.

Being Human
by ela-girl - 2008-01-25 08:01:27
Don't you think we should all come with manuals? Wouldn't that be something! LOL Seriously, though...this is a great site and I love the people here. Sometimes life just gets in the way and we all get grumpy. Afterall, we're only human! One of the best parts of being human is that we can offer forgiveness and kindness to one another and try to be understanding.
So, what size are your shoes?! ha ha :)
Happy pacing! (<--maybe that's the secret...being happy helps you to live longer and so does pacing, right?!)
Love,

I'm new and from the post i have read i want to cry, I can't believe people can be so hateful..........We all have problems, but darnit, we all need support at times. WHAT ARE FRIENDS FOR? I feel bad for a couple people in hear after hearing the treatment they got.
I hope this will be a cool place to come for support.

Butterfly!!!!
by Peter.Nash - 2008-01-26 07:01:49
Hi To all above,
I am afraid to some extent I have to disagree (kindly) to what shall I say ----The Theme----- I come on this site every day and I have never seen anything "hateful "written ever.. a difference of opinion YES but that is all... this will happen in any club yes this is a "Pacemaker Club."..... and overall it amazes me how the people here are so kind and considerate... I look at that side of it.. some of us will always have the little clash I think to some extent it is a good thing it wakes everone up more people log on.... and look at the array of postings this week and you will see what I mean.....when we get postings like the last week or so there is nothing wrong with them as such... but when we say our "piece" we would all do well to remember that some people will be aware of the "Facts" of the original posting and others wont. It depends on who talks to who.
Anyhow did not some one once say.." the difference between love and hate is but the thicknes of a butterflies wing it just depends on which side of the wing one is on"!!!! purely my opinion People .
Take care Peter.N

I agree with you, Peter. By no means was my post a reflection that I thought that hateful things are posted here. I, too, visit the site daily...and I think, too, that disagreements are natural and healthy. It would be odd to always agree and be happy! And I DO believe that this site is full of very considerate people. I love your butterfly analogy, too. I had never heard that one before.
Cheers!

You people can draw soooo many conclusions! I am very impressed! You guys have much more brain capacity than I will ever have (JK). I love quotes, so just in case you are wondering why I put that there...

Isn't that the the truth? My shoes are humungo! Women size 11 wide. Yeah. Yes, we all get grumpy and yeah humanity isn't a picnic at all. Life isn't fair. But then again, a fair is where you take a pig to be judged. :)
