Feeling Sorry For Myself

Hello everyone! I am having a bad today and am feeling sorry for myself. I know there are others out there who are so much worse off than I am, but I just can't seem to get a grip. I always have a very positive attitude, but today I have had blacked out because of low blood pressure, and now I am struggling with a rapid heart rate that noone can explain. I thought that I was finally getting my health under control...with my pacer and meds, I have been doing really well over the last few weeks...but then, something like this happens and I get so frustrated. My doctor has me wearing a 30-day event recorder in hopes that we can figure out what is making my heart race for no apparent reason.
Well, I guess I just needed to vent. Sorry for the negative post, and thanks for "listening".

Amanda

Amanda,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know that things are fun but try to relax and just take it easy. When i'm down and not feeling well I just spoil myself by taking a nap or drinking that soda that I normally don't drink. Find something to do that calms your soul. You are in my thoughts and I know that they will figure things out.
Many prayers,
Tammy

Hey Amanda,
I am so sorry to hear that things are still not good. Hopefully the event monitor will help the Dr's see something...and hopefully it will be treatable. I keep thinking about you and hope everything gets better for you. Keep me updated if you hear anything new!

Christine

Thanks!

re: "negative post"

I was in a lot of physical discomfort and emotional distress for awhile. I wondered if people were tired of my "negative posts" but now realize that if we can't be honest about how we feel here we may not be able to get the help and support that is available from others who probably have felt the same way. My situation is not exactly the same as yours, but I can say I can understand your discouragement. But, hang in there, don't give up, and imagine yourself in the future reflecting on this time once it is past.
