OK - blood test came back with just white blood cell count low. Nothing else relevant. I am not anaemic, no thyroid problem or diabetic.
I am really trying to be positive. I am getting back to exercise, went on X-trainer for 15 mins on Sunday and 20mins today. Why oh why can I not feel energetic! or for that normal.
Feeling pretty low, do not want to go down the road of taking anti-depressants I must be able to get back to normal.
Any suggestions!

My opinion is you are pushing yourself to hard. You just got your PM this year. The docs make it sound like you will be up and going in a few weeks. As I have read some of the people here on this site have been and others have taken a while. I had mine PM put in June of 2007 and 6 months down the road I was asking myself the same question you were. I still have days I don't have much energy and I really don't know why. Do you have any other heart condtions? I believe that is my problem because I have several. I don't know what condition is causing what any more. Do you take any medication? Like beta-blockers? Medications can cause fatigue. Talk with your doctor and give your body some time to recover from what I call major surgery. I know the docs all say minor surgery to get pacemaker. YEA RIGHT! Mentally and physically-MAJOR! Hope you get some answers. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

it is the best. you can do it for 30 minutes or an hour. it is still the most gentle for us folks.you need to gauge am i short of breath. can i endure 30 minutes? then report to dr. how you are. like cottontop says take in to consideration the other problems if you hVE THEM. YES IT TOOK ME 3 MONTHS TO RECOVER AND I WAS OKAY THEN AND THAT WAS WITH LOTS OF SLEEP AN NAPS AND WALKING. so consider what she says jules take care maureen

This forum can't diagnose

I'll go ahead and say it if no one else will. This is an excellent group for getting moral support and comparing case histories but you should never try to get a diagnosis online especially when you don't have specific symptoms. Even those forums where you can ask a doc for opinions online, they always (the docs that is) provide a disclaimer to the effect that they can't diagnose someone without seeing them in the office. If I might ask, if you are tired, how is it that you are able to exercise. I don't know what an X-trainer is, sorry, but it does seem like you have energy reserves if you can use one. I myself always use exercise as a gauge to determine how I am really doing. Years ago I was an avid runner and I remember days when I felt like crap. Those were the days when I generally had the best run!. Good luck to you.
