Newbie - Getting PM next Tuesday

3 weeks ago I came into the hospital because I could barely stay conscious, my heart sometimes not beating for as long as 8 seconds. It turned out that I also had some terrible pneumonia which I was not even aware of. I have been on heart monitoring this whole time. Sooooo, 3 weeks later the pneumonia is nearly gone and I am scheduled for the PM on next Tuesday.

I have had atrial fibulation for a while and will still have to take meds for that. I hope this all works out ok as I really need to get back to work.

The conduction system

Hi, C.K. In order to prevent remodeling of your heart, which the literature suggests may cause heart failure you need to ask your Dr. about pacing the heart's conduction system. Tell her / him that God put the His - Purkinje system there in all animals, birds and fish for a purpose and that if it is bypassed, then there will be a penelty to pay. If your EP doesn't yet do His bunde pacing yet, write me a private message and I can tell you who does. There are now hundreds of folks who have His bundle pacing, but it is relatively new. It has taken off since both industry and medicine have seen the results of the DAVID Study in Canada and the MOST Trial, as published by Dr. Sweeney.

All the best,
Terry
