Hello all, could anyone explain to me what they think could be happening. I'm 3 weeks post pm implant now, and feel a lot more confident in myself (compared to when i first joined this site, thanks to all of you), am out and about a lot more and all that is fine..on occasions have a little bump but got to admit i'm feeling them less and less which i'll take as a good sign that i have got more used to my new electronic friend. but when I get home from my little outings and finally sit down, my heart feels like its doing strange things, bumping about and i can really feel it, then its like it settles down again. Am i making sense or does no one know what i'm talking about?
Do you think i need another tweak?
I will be grateful of any advice, cheers

Bumping? Fluttering?
by Swedeheart - 2008-05-15 01:05:35
Hello,
I am almost at 3 months since implant. Some days I seem to get a kind of "flutter" or maybe bump... I can feel my heart beating and it seems just "different". I have read from posts it could be the settings... however, because you are only 3 weeks from implant it could easily be your body adjusting. This is just my little opinion and certainly isn't medical knowledge! I just know for me the first 8 weeks were pretty uncomfortable and nerve wracking! I have a tendency to feel something different, then I get really anxious and jittery... so it could be my anxiety. However, if it concerns you I would definitely take notes on when it happens, how long, what are you doing when it occurs, etc. and discuss it with your doctor!
I am glad you are feeling better and more confident. I too have learned I have to trust this device (that isn't easy...) and know it is there to help, not hinder. I hope you continue to recover and feel improvement.
Let us know what you find out!
