Hi everyone, I recently found this site, Im a 32 y/o mother of a 2 year old. I've had my pm since 2004. They say I have maybe 2 years till I have the battery changed, but Im planning on having a couple more kids. Did any of you have to plan children around that or can you have it changed if you are pregnant? I'd appreciate any input- thanks

Welcome trulie,
I am afraid I do not have an answer to your question, but I know there have been discussions about pregnancy and pacemakers in the past. You might check the search button and key in pregnancy and see if you find posts that respond to your questions!
This is a great site and lots of younger folks your age! I am sure you will find answers!
Good luck,

Changing while pregnat

While there is likely no problem the procedure while you are pregnant, I would try to work around it. There are so many things they are finding that affect the fetus. It just seems a prudent thing to do.
I hadn't thought about what I would do if I got pregnant!!!
