I did yard work yesterday

My husband & I cut (he ran the chainsaw!) a bunch of tree branches yesterday to start getting rid of some dying trees. Then I pulled weeds and dug up and moved flowers around. I worked pretty hard all day & felt great doing it. However, today I'm exhausted and can hardly put one foot in front of the other. I'm seven weeks out from having my implant and feel pretty good. Maybe too good. Apparently I'm going to have to pace myself better. Do any of you feel like you hit a wall after doing alot of physical labor?

How long has it been since you did that much physical work? You went for some period of time where you didn't feel like heavy activity before getting the pacer. Then there is the recovery time as well. Any of us will feel it the next day if we start exerting ourselves after maybe 2 months of inactivity.
Usually the effects of exertion related to a pacemaker are felt almost immediately as shortness of breath or weakness.
Just start working yourself up to your former activity level and give your muscles a chance to shape up.
By the way I'll bet it sure felt good to get outside for some yard work. I love it.
