Get back to my hobby?

My favorite hobby has been flying radio control airplanes for some years now.

I got sick and stopped for a few months and now that I'm starting to feel better after getting my PM I'm getting the bug to go fly again.

I have been researching and it seems that the transmitters should not be a problem, they are low power 1/2 watt RF transmitters. mine is 2.4Ghz.

I asked the device rep before they discharged me and he said, rather vaguely, It's probably OK.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue? I'm going in for my first device interrogation this afternoon, I'll be sure and ask again.

Hi Iraiam,
I can't see you having any problems with the transmitters ..I hang them on a neckstrap and have been amongst 5-6 all on at once .. 35 meg and 2.4 gGhz and have never had the slightest problem .. But I have an ICD so I think the answer is don't hold the transmitter right next to your PM just use your common sense if us modellers have any ??? you know what the ladies think " Boys with their toys" ect.
Enjoy flying and remember it gets you out of the house (WORK).

Who me!!! Chrissie (Wingart) I will catch up with you later he he....

Don't forget to ask for a copy of the pre and post interrogation printout. This is the time to start saving historical data on your pacemaker.

You know you're wired when...

You get your device tuned-up for hot dates.
