PM 3mos, r/r turned off one month ago. Now I have Fainting feeling while playing tennis or running,.. H/R does not increase with exercise. Setting moved up from 50 to 55 and stays there. When r/r was on H/R was 50 to 150. Have had several a/fribs as a result which last for 4-5 hours. Could B/B be problem as I am trying to wean off from 50mg to 25mg.
This a great, informative site and I thank you all for any thoughts.

Why did they turn it off? Sounds like you need it back on!
You know you're wired when...

Rate response off

From your report that your HR doesn't increase with exercise as strenuous as running or tennis, it sounds like you need rate response on. This kind of exercise with a HR of 55 is depleting the oxygenation of your tissues including brain, heart, muscles, and stomach. The inadequate blood flow to your brain is the cause of feeling light headed. It is also likely causing the afib for the same reason.
First, I would stop doing this kind of exercise until you get the situation corrected. It is very risky to deprive the heart and brain of sufficient blood flow.
Contact who ever does your checkups and tell them what is happening. If possible get a checkup from the pacemaker manufacturers rep. Also, ask for a copy of the pre and post checkup printouts.
