Incision site stretching

Not sure what to call it but got my pm in February and since then I can't seem to lift anything without it feeling like my chest is on fire.

I have been trying to stretch each day but it still hasn't helped. Any ideas?

Thanks

Ron

That isn't normal. Have you been back to the dr?

...a sensitive nerve that didn't mend, or tissue has adhered to the generator. In either case, stretching all you can stand is the only thing you can do.

Can you see puckering or dimpling at the incision scar when you stretch your arm?

Nerves healing, maybe

It's not uncommon for sensations to change as the scar tissue pocket begins to develop around the generator and wires. There are so many possibilities of what may be going on. If in doubt make sure to talk to your doctor about your concerns if what you are feeling s a problem for you.

Stretching the area in all directions is really important. The potential for developing frozen shoulder remains high the more you do not use your arm. I used a heating pad on mine for a couple of years and it really helped me. Some people claim to use ice. The use of heat or cold is a personal choice. Some of the reasons either heat or cold help is because they are stimulating the nerves; making them feel different, besides the obvious of helping to loosen muscles, effect circulation of blood into the area and inflammation reduction. The most important thing though is if what you are experiencing is a problem for you then speak to your doctor.

RE stretching

Been back to the doctor several times, in fact spent the night in the hospital on Monday night after blood pressure dropping 30 points, made the pace maker make it's money.

All the doctors tell me is the site looks fine and that pretty much buck up so wanted to get a few different ideas out there. I appreciate all the feedback.
