Adventure!

Hello everyone,
I was quite taken aback when I received my pacemaker in Feb. of 2005. I kept thinking that my adventurous lifestyle had come to an end. So for the last few years I have slowly begun to do things I love again. Tonight I am in a hotel (very nice) in Boise, Idaho, USA. My hubby and I have just spent the last 4 days in the beautiful mountains here. We have been hiking and riding 4-wheelers all over the mountains! We have been having a blast. It has been the best time I have had in a long time. We are resting tonight and flying home to Wichita, Kansas tomorrow. We never really thought it would be possible that I could do these things again, but we have and we are already planning our next trip. My next vacation will be the Zipline where you can sore though the tree tops on a guide wire! I can hardly wait! I feel tired but very happy. It had been fantastic! I did not have any problems with my pacemaker!
So if anyone is wondering if they can pursue a previous adventurous lifestyle...... the answer is YES! with a dr. permission of course.
blessings to you all, pacergirl :-)

Thank you for putting into words what I could not. With some work, some help from "sparky" and lots of love from my hubby, family and friends I seem to be returning to some of my crazy ways.
I would never have thought it could happen.

In closing may I say, good luck to us all and may whatever we wish. for the rest of our lives come true.

You know you're wired when...

You name your daughter “Synchronicity”.

The pacer systems are really very reliable. The main problem is the incompetent programming of them. If yours is working well for you, get on with life and enjoy it. You probably are more at risk of problems with a valve job than the pacer.
