hi everyone. sorry i am a bit late but i have been busy! feeling great! i got my defibrillator around 11:30 am on march 9th. i left the hospital around 3 pm march 10th. my husband got to stay with me at maine med so it was great (he and my family loved the cafeteria haha) i have been having at home nurses checking up on me once or twice a week to see how my incision is doing. everything is going great! my doc said the pace maker did it's job when he tested it, and the surgery took like an hour. i was really funny when i had the "muscle relaxer". i wish i got it on video tape!!!!!
anyway, i stayed home on wednesday. had a nurse come, checked me out. i was still pretty sore obviously. but i did get some good sleep tuesday night! on thursday i went out, and friday i went out, and on saturday and sunday too! so all in all, surgery was a breeze, recovery is a breeze, and i'm feeling good:)
but then i noticed something yesterday morning when i woke up. i had some fluid in my throat, like you would after having a cold or the flu. i only noticed it when i woke up that morning, and i coughed and got up and it went away. this morning it was back, but i laid in bed for like 2 hours before i got up, so i noticed it a lot more than yesterday. it is only in the morning as i am waking up. and i heard wheezing in my chest. i could be catching some germ or something, but it was just odd. i rarely ever get to the point of a "wheezing" sound when i am sick. and if it ever does happen i am usually getting over my sickness. i am in a rush typing this so i am sorry if it sounds kind of choppy. if anyone can reply to this it will be much appreciated. thanks!!

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.

let the docs check you out!!!!!!!!
I agree with Patch....go to the ER, it might be nothing, but better safe than sorry.
