Hi,
How long should you wait before riding motorcycles after you have a pacemaker installed? I just had my 6 week checkup and they said I can use my arm again, but to avoid things like golfing, baseball, and sports that have sudden jerking motion of the arm for another 2 months. I am dying to get riding again.
Thanks

I would think 6 weeks is enough time but if they want you to wait on sports, I'd call and ask to be sure.

So it seems like this years riding season will be out. But on the upside I will be fully ready for next year. Thanks for all of the input.

Today I explained everything to my doctor, he set my lower rate back to 80 and I felt an immediate improvement.

That does make a lot of sense as far as the reaching and stretching that is involved in riding. I don't have ape hanger bars. My bike is a 2007 Vulcan 900 Classic.
