Has anyone heard of this. my old one is a pacer it lasted me 1 month shy of 15 years. Keep me in your praters tommorrow to anyone who reads this as I a bit scared. Thank you gosh I love this site : ) Trisha

Sorry about the link not working. I tested it 3 times before posting. Some how it changed when it was posted. Go on the St. Jude Medical site (I am not posting any more links) and search for:
Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy
The page I was trying to send you to was the 2nd result when I did it.
Best Wishes Again, Bruce

Hello Trisha,
I have a 3 lead St. Jude defibrillator but it is also available as a pacemaker. It has done wonders for me! Here is a link that explains how it functions:

I hope this helps.

hi... I have a 3 lead pacer, its called a biventricular pacemaker and it is used in resynchronization therapy. I have a complete Left bundle branch block, and electrical issue causing my heart to weaken and ended up with CHF. This pacer has allowed my heart to "recover" its beating stronger, in sync and no signs of CHF! I do not have a defib. good luck, I will keep you in my prayers. let us know how you make out
Just checking

I have a friend with a three wire, but the third wire is a defibrillator...not sure if that is what is going on with you, but definitely ask tomorrow before you go into surgery! Ask questions!!!! Good luck!
