Jolt, Kick, Shock?

Hi all! I had my dual chamber PM placed on 3/8/19. I’ve felt flutters and even can feel pacing at night. On 3/19/19 I felt my first “bumping, hopping, shocking” type feeling. It takes my breath; no other symptoms. My entire upper body moves. I’ve heard that PMs can’t shock you but that thrust is just what it feels like however is not painful at all. Lypmh nodes enlargement at both arm pits after fixing the PAcemaker.

I got the PM implant fixed on 7th March. Yesterday I noticed Lymphglads enlarged at both arm pits, only slight pain. Is it of concern or I can just forget it? Did anybody had this problem??

YEAR AFTER PM AND MY LEFT SHOULDER, LEFT ARM, NECK HURT.

8 Days PM Postop, back in hospital with issues...

Hello, brand new here. I am 41 years old and have a history of syncope (and seizures in childhood). Pacemaker syndrome?

Had to see my EP this morning. I have pacemaker syndrome. Settings are placed back to original (been changed way too many times). Down side is I'll be pacing back up high 90%s and echos much more often to monitor heart muscles. But due to my issues with AV node. There was too long of a pause between upper and lower and they just don't sync together. I knew something was not right. Pounding, irregular beats in neck, light headed, headaches etc, shortness of breath..

Odd snapping/clicking sensation that can also be heard

Hi all! Looking to see if anyone has felt a similiar sensation. Firstly I can't believe I'm 6 weeks post op today, recieved my dual chamber pacemaker on 2/5. About 2 weeks ago at the 4 week mark I started to notice some odd sensations in my chest. It feels as if there is this snapping/clicking feeling. Shocking Lead Testing

I had my 5th Medtronic PM generator implanted in Nov.2018. Every morning at 3:41am a test is run on one of my leads. I am not supposed to feel it however it shocks me awake and runs for 5+ minutes. This was reported immediately to my doctor. During an interrogation my the techs said this test was turned off. However every morning at 3:41am I am shocked awake. Infection

I recently went thru an awful experience and I am just putting this out there to hope that all with a pm or pm/defib or defib...will be more diligent than I was. lead revision prior to valve replacement

Hello all!

My 75 year old very healthy dad had an emergency pacemaker put in on Dec 31, 2019 for bradycardia. He had just moved and did not have all his records prior to surgery. When the surgeon was in there he noticed that his atrial valve is badly damaged and at his 6 week follow-up said they had since received his records and the cardio team recommends a lead revision to go around the atrial valve and then 6 weeks later have a valve replacement. Weird sensation

I had my PM put in in Oct. They released me to start running in January. Of course I had to start out slow. I get to increase about every 3 weeks I'm only up to a mile and half right now. In the process I've lost about 20lbs since my surgery, it feels like my PM is more evident and it feels like its moved or closer to my arm pit. Defibrillator turned off

After several "inappropriate shocks" over the past several months - the two most recent ones while driving! - I am over the whole defibrillator experience.  I have had multiple issues with mutliple devices over the past 12 years.  Amazingly enough - almost despite the devices my EF has improved greatly - to the almost low normal range.  Now the anxiety about yet another inappropriate shock is a far greater issue than anything going on cardiac wise.  Just wonderin...

Scab on icd scar 2 years after surgery

I had my icd put in in 2016. The scar healed quickly. I rarely even think about it being there because it's under the muscle. But today I noticed a scab on my scar. I didn't hurt myself in any way to cause it. Of course Google says skin cancer. So I'm keeping an eye on it and if it doesn't heal fast I'll go to a dermatologist. But after lurking here for years I figured I'd ask here about it. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Racing

Hey all - 

Got my PM put in subpec a little over two months ago. Lately (when I’m sitting or laying down), I have felt the pacemaker kick in, almost to the point where I feel like I could lunge across the room it kicks in so strongly. Plastic left inside?

Hi, I had a pm fitted 4 weeks ago. I’ve been aware of two little bumps - one on the scar and one about 2cm along from the end of the scar. Until today I’d been a little squeamish about exploring them.

If I move the skin around the further-out bump it stays static, it looks pointy and thin, poking it moves the scar. The bump on the scar is similar.

They feel like thin plastic (about 1mm diameter) rods. They are very close to the surface, like they could rupture through....

Even though I don't have apacemaker as such I was implanted with a medteMedtREVEAL link heart monitor six weeks ago and have weakness and numbness iny left arm

Being a pianist this. Is causing me alot of trouble
