Any thoughts what might be causing my diaphoresis

Hi. Overall have had a rough month, had to be admitted to the hospital twice. In total I was only out of maybe 5-6 days in October. First had trouble with persistent hypotension owing to increased Carvedilol trying to suppress PVCs. Micra Transcatheter Pacemaker

I am in a study with the new Micra pacemaker. Installed two weeks ago. I have a Wenckebach - Arrhythmia. The pacemaker was originally set at a heart rate of 50. I had problem so it was reduced to a rate of 40. I still had some issues but it was raised to a rated of 60. I have dizzy spells, pacing problems and some shocks. Amiodrone & Zocor

Hi
I have my ICD 2-1/2 years already. And all has been well dispite the horrible side effects of Amiodrone. Now the Dr tells me the Zocor 20mg that I have been taking for 14 years cannot be taken with Amiodrone. I saw somewhere on Webmd the min. for statins is 10mg. when taking amiodrone. The Dr. changed to Lipitor but it is terrible on the kidneys. Can anyone please make a suggestion or tell me what they are doing or taking.

Pacemaker herniation?

This is my second pacemaker in 5 years (dual chamber, intramuscular) and I am about 2 months post op with new leads and new pm. # 2 was also placed intramuscular.

Yesterday while crawling into bed, left elbow bracing me as I turned off the light, the PM popped thru the muscle at the left side like a hernia! Freaked out, I shoved it back in. Obviously I am going to tell my doc, but has anyone experienced this ?

Shortness of breath

My husband had a pacemaker fitted three weeks ago for total heart block. He is at this moment in hospital having tests for his onset of breathlessness and heartburn-like pain since having the PM fitted. So far all tests have resulted as all ok ((blood chest ct scan PM check etc). They don't know what is wrong but this forum is full,of people with same complaint so what is going on. lost my voice

I received my dual lead pacemaker almost five months ago. About two months ago, I lost my voice. I can whisper, but I cannot talk ! I have been to several specialist, with mixed results. When they checked my vocal chords with a scope down my throat, they found my vocal chords to be in great shape. Odd thumping beat /PM syndrome?

I have had my PM for almost 3 months dx'd w/ SSS. I pace in AAI mode and I have a Bos Sci Ingenio - if that makes a difference. My last pacing percentage was 82%.

Within a few weeks after getting my PM, my autoimmune diseases kicked in and to make a long (and exceedingly painful) story short I've been fighting to deal with the aftermath of a severe flare and haven't had the strength to deal with anything else.

Neighbor with complications

A neighbor had many complications with a pacemaker implanted on Thurs. which made me glad I went to the University of Chicago Hospitals for mine.

His doctor was board certified in electrophysiology but our hospital may not have enough experience with this procedure or the fluoroscope equipment. heart beat disorder

hello friends m/20 on my second pm replaced 2 month before. from few days i am feeling my heart sometimes is beating in disorder. in a day when i am in resting position it beats in disorder for 2,3 days for 15,20 minutes then after that it start beating in order. is this is some serious problem or normal? i am CHB patient having medtronic kappa 400 dual chamber DDDR mode type. my question is this disorder is normal ? i feel my heart is beating in disorder Any suggestions ?

Funny feeling

Discomfort at implant site

Hi, I am 7 weeks post implant, and about a week ago I began having a sharp pain at one side of the implant site. It is not constant, but it is becoming longer and more painful daily.
